Synopsis

Best friends Summer and Faye are unexpectedly thrust into the world of a novel, assuming the roles of the devoted wife to the shrewd Adrian Watson and the stand-in lover for the possessive Julian Watson. While they seem ensnared in unrequited love, they secretly revel in the opulent lifestyle of the elite. But, the return of Mia Piper, another key heroine, shatters their tranquil existence. To escape the looming tragic fate, they devise a daring plan to fake their own deaths. Unbeknownst to them, their "deaths" push Adrian and Julian to the brink of despair. Then, a chance encounter brings the four back together again...
